62. Twin Peaks S1E1: The Pilot

"Welcome to Stairwells. My name is Niamh Schönherr. I live in Chicago. I am known as the NANA Lady. There is a story behind that. There are many stories on Stairwells. Some of them are sad, some funny. Some of them are stories of Autumn getting really high, of Deep Space 9. Some are ordinary. Yet they all have about them a sense of erotics—the erotics of cinema.

"Sometimes, the erotics of erotic thrillers. The erotics of vampire movies. Vampire movies that are blood horny.

"To introduce this podcast, let me just say it encompasses the all—it is beyond the 'aesthetics,' though few would know that meaning. It is a podcast of many, but begins with one—and we watched it this week.
